Accessibility
At York Pride, we aim to be as accessible as possible so that as many people as possible can enjoy the festival safely and comfortably.
York Pride takes place on the Knavesmire, which is a large grass field. While the site is not completely level and ground conditions can vary depending on the weather, accessibility remains a key part of our event planning. Each year, we invest significantly in making the festival as inclusive and manageable as possible, including trackway across parts of the site, accessible viewing considerations, large screens showing live camera feeds from the Main Stage, accessible toilet provision, first aid support and clear pre-event information.
We know that everyone’s access needs are different, so we encourage visitors to read our full accessibility information before attending. This includes details about the festival site, parking, toilets, viewing areas, assistance dogs, lighting and sound, and what to expect on the day.
Cabaret Stage
The Cabaret Stage is back for York Pride 2026, bringing even more drag, cabaret, comedy, chaos, glamour and queer performance to the Knavesmire.
This stage celebrates the bold, brilliant and creative heart of our community, with a packed programme of performers from York, Yorkshire and beyond. Expect high-energy hosting, unforgettable performances, local favourites, rising stars and plenty of moments that could only happen at Pride.
The Cabaret Stage may include adult humour, swearing and themes that are more suitable for older audiences, so viewer discretion is advised. Full timings and performers will be announced as part of the York Pride 2026 line-up.

Main Stage Acts and Line-Up
York Pride 2026 is set to bring another incredible day of live music, entertainment and celebration to the Knavesmire.
Our Main Stage will feature a packed line-up of headline acts, chart favourites, drag icons, local talent, community performers and Pride favourites, creating one of the biggest free festival atmospheres in the city. From huge singalong moments to standout performances across the day, the Main Stage is where York Pride comes alive.
The full York Pride 2026 line-up will be announced across our website and social media channels. Keep checking back as more acts, stage times and special announcements are revealed.
Trade with York Pride
Trading at York Pride is a brilliant opportunity to be part of one of York’s biggest and most vibrant annual events.
Each year, York Pride welcomes a wide range of traders, food and drink vendors, charities, community groups, local businesses, makers, services and information providers. The festival brings thousands of people together on the Knavesmire for a day of celebration, visibility and community, making it a fantastic platform to connect with a large and engaged audience.
Whether you are selling food, promoting your organisation, sharing support services, showcasing products or raising awareness, we would love to hear from you. Applications for York Pride 2026 trading spaces will be available through our website, with full details on pitch types, pricing, requirements and deadlines.

Getting to York Pride
York Pride 2026 takes place across two key locations: the parade start on Parliament Street in York city centre and the main festival site on the Knavesmire, accessed from Knavesmire Road, YO23 1EX.
Whether you are joining the parade, heading straight to the festival, or doing both, please plan your journey in advance and allow extra time. York will be busy throughout the day, and travel arrangements may be affected by the parade route, road closures and event traffic.
Full travel information, including how to get to the parade start, how to reach the festival site, public transport guidance, parking information and accessibility considerations, will be available here before the event.
