Feeling nostalgic? Looking for inspo for next year?

Look back over previous York Pride’s here!

York Pride 2025

Over 17,500 of you joined us to celebrate love, inclusion, and visibility at York Pride 2025—our most ambitious event to date.

This was the year our Parade route expanded, filling even more of York with colour, pride, and community spirit.

Our Main Stage was packed with talent, headlined by the Top 3 queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 5 and the show-stopping Angels of the North.

We launched our very own Cabaret Stage, shining a spotlight on incredible local drag, comedy, cabaret, and grassroots performers.

Our Circus Skills Zone brought family-friendly fun to the festival field—with workshops, walkabout performers, and lots of laughter.

Across the site, over 150 traders, charities, sponsors, and community groups made the Knavesmire a hub of colour, connection, and celebration.

Sales of wristbands and official merch broke records—thank you to everyone who supported the festival and helped keep Pride free for all.

York Pride 2024

The year our parade expanded, we got a new runway stage, the Top 3 Queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK S5, The Angels of the North, headlined and over 20,000 of you came to celebrate with us. (We’re ignoring the generator being sabotaged by the RuPaul queens!)

York Pride 2023

The year the sun shone, the crowd went wild and Claire from Steps graced the stage!

York Pride 2022

The year the back of the parade left the Minster 30 minutes after the start (oooh yes, we’re that big), RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star, Divina de Campo came back to York Pride and we finished the day wowed by Duncan James and Nadine Coyle.
