Winner of York Pride Drag Race 2025

Eris Envy
I believe I am worthy of the crown as I have done drag for 7 years now, and have been performing in York for most of that time. I have held the door open for so many performers to start here in York but have continuously had to grind to get opportunities for myself, I have worked and fought over the past 7 years to build my reputation as a staple in York queer nightlife as an out of the box, wild and energetic one of a kind entertainer, and I know without a shadow of a doubt these past 7 years I have proven my worthiness for the crown!

Ferne Ando
I believe I am worthy of the York Pride Drag Race crown because I bring everything you would want to see on the main stage of a pride – campy comedy fun that all the family can engage with! The lyrics to my parodies have that quick-witted humour but are also super catchy and leave audiences singing along by the end every single time! Also, I genuinely eat, sleep and breathe drag and my passion really shines through when I perform. And I would love to add some AFAB drag representation to the winners circle and the York Pride main stage!

Georgia Diamond
I deserve the crown of York Pride Drag Race because I bring talent, passion, and show-stopping performances to the stage. As a teen drag queen trained in musical theatre, I don’t just perform—I captivate. I sing live, I command the stage, and I pour my heart into every number. Drag is my art, my escape, and my way of inspiring others to embrace who they are. I may be young, but I’m fearless, versatile, and ready to take this crown. York Pride, I am Georgia Diamond, and I am your next superstar!

It’s me Dom Queen!
There are several reasons why I feel that I am worthy of the crown – I am a workhorse queen, always working to try and improve myself using the feedback I’m given whilst also standing firmly in my high heeled shoes.
I make my own clothes, do my own make-up, plan my own lip-syncs – everything I do is wholly representative of me.
I stand up fiercely for mental health, and advocate this often in my lipsyncs. I would love to have the chance to showcase the importance of this in the LGBTQIA+ community especially given the current time.

Luna Hex
Heya! I’m Luna Hex, the femme fatale of York and mother of York’s alternative drag troupe, Coven Events! I’m a cis-female drag queen, so I believe I bring a unique perspective to drag that celebrates femininity down to the core, and I love exploring that in everything I do. I can bring you sickening high energy club numbers, sensual burlesque or an emotive ballad, and though I take my work very seriously, everything I do has a little wink wink nudge nudge to it.

Ariel 51
I believe I would be a perfect fit for the York Pride Drag Race Crown as I am a fun, energetic and theatrical drag performer who often performs for both adult and family friendly audiences and would love to bring my fabulous self to the York Pride Stage!!! As a previous winner of Viva La Divas Dragtastic (2024) at Barpop on Canal Street, Manchester, I’ve demonstrated that I am a stellar performer and would love to branch out to the York Scene!!

Dick Fran Dyke
I am a non-binary drag king who began my career in York, and I’ve worked to elevate the local drag scene while proudly representing York drag across the UK. As a live singer, comedian, host, and lip-sync performer, I bring versatility, creativity, and uniqueness to every performance with a high-quality finish. My skills are reflected in winning the infamous Ladywood Legends in Birmingham and placing in the top three in every competition I’ve entered, however I’m finally ready to take the hometown crown and be the first drag king to win York Pride Drag Race.

Sian De Paul
I am the plus size barbie and always bring the party! In terms of my drag think of your drunk auntie who’s had too much prosecco, with dance moves like the school dinner lady at the school disco. I always like to bring energy and hype up a crowd. I deserve the York Pride Drag Race Crown because since started my drag journey in York at an open night, all I have done since is grow in confidence and improved every single time I step on stage! I think it’s time for The Plus size barbie to take the crown.

Miss Kitty Lee
I’m a Yorkshire born and bred singer, songwriter and self taught pianist who’s drag cabaret has allowed me to expanded my performances beyond what I thought I was ever capable of and I perform to a variety of audiences from care-homes to rowdy pubs, I seem to have gone from strength to strength pushing out of my comfort zone and battling my mental health demons doing things I never thought possible (like auditioning for ‘Tina’ the musical) and also educating people and changing their minds to drag and queer art.
It would be an honour to represent my village and local town at York Pride.

Robynne Ryske
I, Robynne Ryske, of sound mind and even sounder body, do hereby state that I am the next rightful winner of York Pride Drag Race. I have been a York legend for 5 years. After first performing at The Glasshouse at UoY in 2020 I came back post-pandemic and immediately took York by storm. I came second in the premier year of Bailey’s Big Drag Smackdown and judged every year since, performed at York Pride for 3 years now, put on local shows and platformed local talent. Even though I live in Leeds now, I’m still a Queen of York!
