YORK PRIDE 2027
THE COUNTDOWN IS ON!
SATURDAY 5 JUNE 2027
Volunteer at York Pride 2027
York Pride 2027 is on its way and we’re looking for brilliant volunteers to help make it happen.
Every year, our volunteers play a huge part in creating a safe, welcoming and unforgettable Pride celebration for thousands of people across York and beyond. From supporting the parade and welcoming visitors, to helping across the festival site, answering questions, assisting with accessibility arrangements and bringing positive energy throughout the day, our volunteers are at the heart of York Pride.
You don’t need previous experience to get involved. Whether you can give a few hours or support us for the whole day, we would love to hear from you.
Volunteering at York Pride is a fantastic way to meet new people, support the LGBT+ community, gain experience and be part of one of York’s biggest and most joyful celebrations.
Volunteer applications for York Pride 2027 will open soon.
Follow @yorkpride on social media for the latest updates, or check back on this page for more information.
Together, we make Pride happen.
Award Winning York Pride
York LGBT Pride continued to shine in 2025, building on an incredible year of recognition and achievement. After winning both the Yorkshire Post Tourism Award 2024 and the YorkMix Choice Award 2024 and 2025 — a title voted for by the public — York Pride has firmly established itself as one of the city’s most loved and anticipated events.
These awards, alongside being finalists in the Visit York Awards (2024 and 2025) and the Little Vikings Awards, highlight our ongoing commitment to delivering a truly inclusive, family-friendly festival that welcomes everyone.
Each milestone reflects the heart of York Pride: a celebration that brings tens of thousands of people together to honour diversity, unity, and community spirit.
For sponsors and partners, York Pride represents an exceptional opportunity to stand alongside values that matter—inclusivity, visibility, and positive social impact. Supporting York Pride means joining a movement that reaches a vibrant and engaged audience, both across Yorkshire and beyond.
We’re proud to have once again been nominated for the YorkMix Choice Award 2026. Voting has now closed—thank you to everyone who supported us. Keep watching this space as we look ahead to York Pride 2027, set to be our most exciting year yet.
