York Pride Family Area 2026
York Pride is proud to provide a Family Area – a welcoming and inclusive space where children, parents, and carers can enjoy Pride together in a safe, fun, and supportive environment.
Each year, the Family Area brings families together to celebrate love, creativity, and connection, offering activities and entertainment designed for all ages. From crafts and storytelling to interactive performances and sensory play, it’s a space where everyone can relax, laugh, and feel part of the Pride celebration.
For 2026, we’re exploring new ways to make this space even more engaging and accessible — and we’re inviting organisations, artists, and community groups to help us shape it.
We’re particularly keen to hear from those who share our commitment to family inclusion, wellbeing, and creativity, whether that’s through workshops, performances, storytelling, or hands-on activities.
