Trade with Pride

Trade with York Pride

Be part of one of Yorkshire’s most vibrant and inclusive events.

In 2025, we welcomed over 150 traders, businesses, charities, and community groups, creating a colourful and engaging festival marketplace full of energy, visibility, and connection. For 2026, we’re expanding once again, with even more opportunities to showcase your organisation, products, or services to over 20,000 attendees at North Yorkshire’s largest LGBT+ celebration.

Having a stall at York Pride is your chance to connect directly with thousands of visitors throughout the day, share your message, and celebrate diversity alongside our community.

What Makes York Pride Unique

York Pride’s festival site on the Knavesmire is home to a vibrant mix of stalls, bringing together charities, community groups, universities, colleges, and local businesses. From raising awareness of vital causes to promoting local enterprises, every stall plays a part in creating the inclusive, family-friendly atmosphere that York Pride is known for.

Food and drink vendors add even more flavour to the day, serving everything from street food to sweet treats, while merchandise traders bring creativity and colour with Pride-themed items and unique mementos. The festival also features interactive community stands, campaign groups, and fairground-style attractions — all contributing to an unforgettable experience.

We’ve found that the most successful stalls are those that offer an interactive element or activity, giving visitors something fun to join in with. If you’re offering giveaways, please help us keep Pride sustainable by making them as eco-friendly as possible, avoiding plastic and unnecessary packaging.

Stall Categories and Donations

York Pride operates on a not-for-profit basis, with stallholder donations helping us keep the event free for everyone. Our minimum donation levels for 2026 are:

Local charity or community group £80 (York-registered LGBT+ charity or group £40)
Trade union or national charity £200
Craft or maker £120
Local business or retail £200
Large business or corporate £1,500 (for organisations with over 250 employees nationally)
Hot food vendor £600+
Desserts and treats vendor £300+
Non-alcoholic drinks or coffee vendor £300+

These figures act as a guide — if your organisation can afford to contribute a little more, it directly supports our £130,000+ annual running costs and helps us deliver an even better event.

Key Information

Each stall space is 3m x 3m as standard. Larger pitches are available for an uplift (25% for 6m x 6m, 50% for 9m x 6m, and 75% for 12m x 6m). Stallholders must provide their own gazebo, tables, and equipment, and food or drink vendors must pay an additional £50 trading licence fee, which covers our site-wide street trading consent with City of York Council.

Food and drink traders are responsible for their own diesel generators (petrol generators are not permitted) and waste management. The site is a grass field and can be uneven, so please come prepared for all weather conditions.

Vehicle movement on the public areas of the site is restricted between 10am and 9pm for safety reasons, and all stalls must remain open until at least 6:30pm.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and may close early for certain categories once capacity is reached, so early applications are encouraged.
