Parade with Pride
York Pride Day begins with our spectacular Parade March, starting from York Minster and travelling through the city streets to the festival site on the Knavesmire.
The Parade is both a celebration and a statement — a colourful, vibrant show of unity that champions equality and LGBT+ human rights here in the UK and around the world. It’s our moment to demonstrate how diverse, inclusive, and welcoming York truly is.

Trade with Pride
In 2025, over 150 traders, businesses, charities, and community groups filled the Knavesmire with colour, flavour, and creativity. For 2026, we’re expanding again — offering even more chances to engage with thousands of visitors throughout the day.
From street food to handmade crafts, community outreach to retail experiences, having a stall at York Pride lets you connect directly with a welcoming and diverse audience.
